Phew! What a scorcher. That’s
your lot this week, we’re sending this out to the sound
of the patter of rain-drops on the sun-scorched earth after
a week of sunshine to remember. We’d like to thank the
following people, without whom this World-Cup-disturbed issue
would not have been possible: Andy Sherwood, Clint Langley,
Holly Steddon, Jane Zara, Miranda Kemp, Phil from Tongue and
Groove, Shirley Edwards, Mal Smith, Rod Johnson, Carol Buchan,
Jerry Noble, Carlos Gamarra, Johns Burfoot and Wilson and
Malcolm Kitch.
This week’s contributors are: Emma Robertson, Karen
Anderson, Katie Moorman, Sophie Clark, Jess Wood, William
Leith, Antonia Gabassi, Dexter Lee, Dave Wilson, Nick Williams
and Alex Leith.
Next week’s highlights include:
Thurs 22nd: Your annual chance
to climb the mysterious Brack Mount.
Thurs 22nd: Lewes Priory: An
illustrated talk (that’s the monastery not the school)
Fri 23rd: The Da Vinci Code starts
its extended run at the All Saints
Fri 23rd and Sat 24th –
Lewes Beer and Cider Festival in the Town Hall
Mon 26th: Norman Adams at the
Star Gallery
We enjoy getting your opinion columns (250 words max with
photos please) and your photos, so keep them coming in. We
also welcome any correspondence, whether it’s a short
rant, some information on an issue we are covering or you
think we should be covering, or news about an event you would
like us to alert our readers to. Our address is info@vivalewes.com.
