This week’s image is a
dandelion clock taken by our editorial assistant Katie Moorman,
when she was wandering in the beautifully abundant back yard
of our office with a Nikon D50. Enterprisingly, Katie blew
the dandelion as she pressed the button of the camera: we
like the way that you can see the seconds tick away as another
couple of seeds leave their base. Unsure of the accuracy of
this particular method of time-telling we consulted the time
stamp on the LCD screen to see when Katie took the photo.
It was 14.15.58 (ie just past quarter past two). Keep sending
your photos in to info@vivalewes.com,
and don’t forget that our World Cup photo competition
is still open, with a Nikon D50 up for grabs for the best
World-Cup themed picture sent in before July 15th. |
