This week’s photo of the
week was sent in from Gavin Burke, who is currently holding
a wonderful exhibition at Trading Boundaries near Sheffield
Park (see page 10). “I’m very fond of woods, and
I feel very comfortable walking in woodland,” he says.
“I liked this image because I like the repetition of
the pattern of the trees in the background, and the way that
the stumps in the foreground break up that pattern.”
He took it in the hills in Surrey near Blackdown, where Tennyson
lived, with a Nikon 35mill HP5. Not much more to day on that
one… we love the picture because it reminds us of how
nice winter can be, and because it makes us want to crunch
the crisp leaved under our boots. Keep sending
your pictures in. As we keep on saying, we love getting
them. |
