That’s that for another week then, a week in which Tony Blair said goodbye to a different political party from the one he joined and kids started greedily hoarding the first fruits of the conker season. And a week in which we produced our first ever ‘hard-copy’ VivaLewes Handbook, which should be coming through your door this weekend. We’ve been working hard, then, but we wouldn’t have been able to get this issue out without the generous help of the following people: Victoria Glendenning, Caroline Zoob, Joe Pickering, Matt Birch, Carlos and Emma, Paul Gregory, Yoko Ono, Stanley Robertson, Philip Carr-Gomm, Fiona Kay, Norman Baker, Gill Emerson, Peter Harvey, Diana Rogers.

This week’s contributors were: Ben Katz, Jo Monroe, Katie Moorman, William Leith, Emma Robertson, Jess Wood, Emma Chaplin, Steve King, Dexter Lee, Antonia Gabassi, Scott 'Chowen' Whittington, Nick Williams, Dave Wilson and Alex Leith.

Next week’s highlights include:
Thursday 5th - Saturday 7th - HMS Pinafore at the Town Hall
Friday 6th - Football: Lewes v Bishop’s Stortford at the Dripping Pan
Saturday 7th - Kenneth Brangwyn exhibition at the Ditchling Museum
Saturday 7th - Tom Walker’s Magicians House 2 at the Star Gallery
Sunday 8th: Barnstormers Comedy at the Royal Oak.
