How often do you go to London and Brighton? London once a week, Brighton three times a week.
How would you spend a perfect Sunday afternoon? Walking in the surrounding countryside with, I would like to say, my children. In reality they trail along fifty yards behind me, as they do not want to be too closely associated with me in public.
What cd/record/tape is in your hifi? A free Johnny Cash cd given away with the Sunday Times. Do I like Johnny Cash? Well it helps doing the ironing, but not enough to go and see ‘Walk the Line’ at the All Saints Centre.
Lewes would be better if… There was somewhere exceptional to buy wine. Waitrose is OK, but, I think, overpriced.
What Lewes really doesn’t need is… More outbreaks of clapping at the end of films at the All Saints Centre similar to those I witnessed at the recent showing of ‘An Inconvenient Truth’. It was this bird-brained activity that drove me out of the NFT twenty years ago.
