This week’s picture was sent in by Lewes (or to be more accurate Barcombe) exile Guy Mayhew, who lives out in a farmhouse in the Pyrenees. We chose it for several reasons: because of the wonderful way the light filters in through the meshed window; because of the amazing eye contact between the two animals and because of the way we’re not sure which animal is more scared in this mammalian Mexican stand-off. We also chose it, truth to tell, because it’s damn cute. “The rabbits are very tasty, the kittens less so,” says Guy.
