As a manager I’ve got to say that I wasn’t pleased with the performance, but I’m pleased with the points. Those three keep us nicely in the pack. We’ve got a game in hand over some of our rivals and two over others so with a run of winnable home games to play we could go as high as sixth if we get the points in the bag. We didn’t start the season too well, but I’ve said all along it’s a marathon, not a sprint, and we’re third in the form table, and that’s after playing a run of nine away league and cup matches out of the last twelve.
Injury wise, Dean Hooper apart, I’ve got a full squad of fit players to choose from, as well. And I’ve got my eye on getting a little drop of fresh blood in before too long, too. There’s nothing solid as yet but I’m expecting to be doing a little bit of Christmas shopping.
