There weren’t many Christmas presents under the tree for us this year - a combination of an injury crisis, a number of dreadful defensive errors and a couple of shocking refereeing decisions meant that we got just one point from three games over the festive period - a terrible return.

We huffed and puffed a lot and had the lion’s share of the possession, but never really had the cutting edge we needed and went down 2-1 in front of a big crowd.

And he’s not the only one who’s been out. We’ve been missing key players - the likes of Andy Drury, Jamie Cade, Lewis Hamilton, and Paul Kennett. Kenno is a big, big miss at the moment.
