That’s your lot then, in a week in which we were blessed with several days of real winter wear-your-coat sunshine, and then were promised another blanket of snow to confuse the carpets of impatient spring flowers which have brightened early February lawns. A week in which the world’s oldest newspaper came off the printing presses and went into cyberspace. And a week in which Bernard Matthews, the turkey millionaire, received some much unwanted publicity, when an outbreak of avian flu necessitated the cull of 159,000 birds, a process which took 48 hours.

This week we would like to thank the following people, without whom the issue would not have been possible: Peter Chasseaud, Wendy Stonestreet, John Stockdale, Francis Kyle Gallery, Rikki Tarascas, Osmosis, Paula Da Luz, Kevin Precious, Sonia Crivello, Gill Robertson, Dick Passmore, Dudley Ward Tom Reeves, Holly from the Gardner, Banksy and Matt Birch.

This week’s contributors include: William Leith, Jess Wood, Emma Chaplin, Peter Flanegan, Antonia Gabassi, Suzie Fox, Emma Robertson, Dexter Lee, Steve King, Adrienne Campbell, Andrea Mindel, Scott Chowen, Katie Moorman, Nick Williams and Alex Leith.
