That’s it, then, in a week in which the rain continued to saturate our chalky soil and heavy winds blew anything unattached into the back of beyond. Spring? It still looks a long way off. Also a week in which a group headed by James Cameron, of Titanic fame, claimed to have made the most important archeological discovery in history, that of Jesus and Mary Magdalene’s bones, a claim quickly ridiculed by a number of religious bodies (pun unintended). And a week in which a German brother and sister, mother and father of four children, fought the German incest laws in court to try to avoid his imprisonment and allow their relationship to continue.

This week we would like to thank the following people for their invaluable help: Bill Major, Clive Harvey, Lucy from Common Cause, Catherine from Rainbow Trader, Anna Tabor, Michael Marwood, Roland Chadwick, Paul Gregory, Catherine Black, Robert Thompson, John Stapleton, Wim Vandekeybus, Val Simanowitz, Jonathan Cox and Tom Reeves.
