This week’s picture comes from Duncan Bunyan, who took it on Sunday while on a weekend trip to London. “I took it on Hackney Road,” he says, “on a Fujifilm S500 digital camera.” “I liked the way the yellow of the street lines jump out of the grey of the tarmac, and the way the colour was echoed by the two marks on the pavement. It had recently been raining, but the sun had come out, and there’s an interesting sheen on the ground.” We’ve got little to add, really. We like the way the picture is composed, and the weird look to the double yellow lines when they are viewed vertically. As we keep saying, we love getting you pictures, so keep sending them in, wherever and whenever they were taken, and whatever their subject.
