Which newspaper do you read? The Daily Star. It’s got the best football news in it. In France I used to read the sports paper L’Equipe, but I can’t get it over here.
What’s your favourite Lewes landmark? I’ve never thought about it. Tesco! Ha ha ha. I’m always in there.
How would you spend a perfect Sunday afternoon? Sometimes I work at the White Hart leisure club. I love working there, my English has really improved there because it’s outside the football environment and I can talk to all sorts of people about all sorts of things. I like watching football, too. I’m an Arsenal fan. I love the passing game they play. Lewes try to play a similar game. At our best, we can play like Arsenal.
What do you think of the Lewes fans? I love them. They’re unbelievable. I think they could sing a bit more, but I love it when they sing my name, even when I’m not playing. A message to them? It’s been a hard year full of injury and illness. But Siggy will be back at his best soon. Keep supporting the team.
What did you have for breakfast this morning? A cup of tea, and half a packet of custard creams. Then I went to the gym!
What do you miss about Martinique? When you are brought up in a place you don’t realise how nice it is. Every time I go back I appreciate it more. The sun, the beaches, my friends and family, the food. The food there is very healthy. I miss my mum’s cooking.
What would make Lewes a better town? It’s fine as it is. I wouldn’t mind if there was a cinema here, or a bowling place. Actually, what it needs is a new Long Room. As I said before, I really miss that place.
