This week’s photo was sent in by Cat Fletcher, who took it from outside her front door in Bishopstone. “I know it’s a bit of a cheesy photo of a sunset, but it was quite a sunset,” she says. “I looked out of my window, saw what the sky looked like, and took a photo of it.” Cat has recently started taking pictures again after a period of abstinence. “I left my camera in a cab a few years ago and as penance I didn’t get another one until a couple of weeks ago. It’s a Fujifilm Finepix S9 600. It’s hard to take a bad photo with it.” Specially with such a view from your front door. We like the lines in the picture: the regimented way the vertical comes out of the two horizontals, counterbalanced by the crazy diagonals of the phone cables. Oh, and the colours, too.
