This week’s picture was sent in by Sue Barnes who took it in the Downs above Shoreham and Lancing. “The sky was absolutely beautiful and the light was rushing over the landscape at top speed”, she says. “I was supposed to be sketching but it was too cold so I snapped this with my Kodak digital camera”.
We like the way that the electricity wires on the pylon draw to a focal point. We also like the contrast between the grey skies in the distance and the blue skies in the foreground. We love the way that, in the right hands, even the most functional of objects can take on a certain beauty. As we keep saying we love to get your pictures so please keep sending them in.
