This week’s photo was sent in by regular contributor Andy Grant, who took it on the railway bridge over the Lewes-London line near Plumpton last Sunday with his Pentax Optio S40 digital camera. “It’s a great place to stop if you’re on a cycle ride in the area, which I was,” says Andy. “There’s a good view of the surrounding countryside, and every now and then a train hurtles past under your feet. I chose to send this one in because I like the sense of dizziness you get looking down at your feet, and I love the yellow lines on the bridge.” We like the reds and yellows and pinks and blues, the texture of the wood, and the merging shadows of the two figures. Andy’s feet, by the way, are in the battered plimsolls. As we keep saying, we love getting your pictures, and we are opening up new spaces throughout the mag to fit them in. So do continue sending them to us.
