That’s it then, after another phew-wot-a-scorcher week in which the end of April thought it was the beginning of August and we all grew nostalgic about the time there used to be clouds in the sky. A week in which a shooting in Southover High Street made the national news ; and a week in which four deer were found by a lobster fisherman swimming a mile out to sea off Portreath Beach in Cornwall

This week we would like to thank the following people, without whom this issue would not have been possible to produce: Sarah O’Kane, Gary Goodman, Billy Childish, David Nash, Paul Myles, Jane Zara, Nathan Parkin, Louise Wingate-Saul, Diane Lock, Sarah Wenban, Adrian Orchard, Irene Runayker, Sue Barnes, Lou Johns, Mary Motley, Tom Reeves, Christopher Bibb

Contributors this week were: Nathan Parkin, Rachel Littlejohn, Emma Chaplin, Emma Robertson, Antonia Gabassi, Adrienne Campbell, Andrea Mindel, Scott Chowen, Owen Postgate, David Jarman, Nick Williams, Katie Moorman and Alex Leith
