Weather forecast
The temperature’s rising. Slip, slop and slap as the intermittent clouds in the sky burn off by the weekend, and the sun warms the air to as high as 25 degrees centigrade. Nice camping weather, too, as minimum temperatures are unlikely to drop below 14. Then, as the week starts, it all gets unsettled again, with a high probability of rain. This week’s Private Passions (Sunday 10th, 12 noon, Radio 3) features Gyles Brandreth, good at Scrabble, bad at jumpers, a lover of Liszt and Gilbert and Sullivan.
