That’s your lot then, in a week in which the sun approached its zenith and warmed the flesh whenever it could find a break in the persistent cloud cover that dulled the early stages of what is, despite typical English over-expectations, a typical English early summer. A week in which the US Air Force revealed that they were planning to invent a ‘gay bomb’ which caused chaos in opposing armed forces by acting as an unignorable same-sex aphrodisiac. And finally a week in which, despite video evidence suggesting the contrary, it seems that George Bush had his watch stolen in Albania by somebody in a crowd of ‘adoring’ fans. What’s the time, guys? Time to go, George.

This week we’d like to thanks the following people, without whose help the publication of this issue would have been rendered deeply implausible: Serena Costello, Dirk Campbell, Zac Zeravkovic, Mike Lance, Ian Mckay, Andrew Sherwood, Adrian Shepherd, Danny Cooklin, Dionne Charles, Alister Scott, John Watson, Duncan Baker-Brown, Tom Mugridge, …

Contributors this week were: Emma Chaplin, Emma Robertson, Antonia Gabassi, Andrea Mindel, Adrienne Campbell, David Jarman, Rachel Littlejohn, Scott Chowen, Nick Williams, Katie Moorman and Alex Leith.
