This week’s image is another taken from Simon Dale’s excellent photoblog ‘Quotidian’ on which he posts a new picture, usually taken in and around Lewes, every day. “I took it on Sunday on Seaford Head,” he says. “I cropped this section from a bigger picture. I thought having just a hint of sea and no sky at all makes the cliff face all the more dramatic. I also liked the way the people in the foreground contrast with the people in the middle of the image, which lends it a sense of perspective. Plus there’s that idiot standing too near the edge. I didn’t get too close to the drop myself, as I suffer from vertigo, or ‘crotch drag’ as my wife calls it, when your belly feels like it’s falling away.” As we can’t stop reminding you, we love getting your pictures in, so please keep them coming.
