This week’s picture was taken by regular contributor Annabelle Curtis. “I took it on a lovely sunny day on Madeira Drive in Brighton”, she tells me. “I really liked the design on the bus and the vapour trails against the blue sky. I also liked the way the trails sort of mirror the pattern of the double yellow lines which you can just make out in the foreground.” Annabelle took the picture on her Nikon D70 with her friend’s fish eye lens. “That’s why the image seems to curve because it gives you an unusually wide angle.” We love that about it and the way that you can see the ring of the lens around the edges of the picture. It reminds us of the view you get when you’re looking out of a peep hole in a door. As we keep saying we love getting your photos so please keep sending them in.
