Recommend somewhere (else) to eat in Lewes? The food is nice in Robson’s on School Hill and I also like to eat at the John Harvey Tavern

What sort of businesses do you think Lewes needs to attract? The town needs more shops for teenagers - there’s only really New Look for girls and nothing for the boys, unless you include the sports shop?
Would a redeveloped Phoenix area be good for the town? It could be if it provides new amenities for our kids to use - like a cinema for example. However, it would have to be sympathetic to the area, and not clash with its surroundings the way for example the HQ Gallery does.
Do you think pedestrianising Cliffe will affect business at this end of town? I don’t think it will affect us because people come to us from all over the town for their lunch. However I’m not totally convinced it’s good for the town as a whole.
Could you do anything to make your business greener? We’d love to recycle more, but at the moment the council won’t take cans and bottles.
Any expansion plans? I think we’ll see how this one goes first. In the future we may look to add a delivery service, but not for a year or so.
