Drusillas Park
Consistently voted one of the most popular attractions in the south of England, Drusillas is situated in Alfriston, 7 miles east of Lewes and is open everyday throughout the summer from 10am, with last admissions at 5pm. Lewes Castle
This is a suitable option for kids of all ages. As well as the castle grounds, tower and barbican to explore, there is also fun to be had in the museum. In fact, it is recommended that you visit here first, to watch ‘The Story of Lewes Town’, a sound and light show based around a scale model of the town. Also, if you pay your admission via gift aid, you get a years entry thrown in free – which gives your kids free reign to explore as many times as they like over the summer holidays: More info:

Middle Farm
Head east out of Lewes on the A27 and you’ll at Firle you will find Middle Farm. It is basically a 625 working farm which you and the family are invited to explore. In addition it also has a fantastic farm shop and an incredible range of ciders. This place is definitely worth a visit – and particularly if you’re not the designated driver that day…
